About Me

David D’Angelo is a young professional with experience in microenterprise development and public affairs. He graduated from Champlain College, where he discovered his interest in international business & affairs. As an undergraduate intern, David advanced
the public diplomacy and development efforts of the United Nations, U.S.Department of Homeland Security, and U.S. Department of State, respectively, through research and community engagement. He completed part of his undergraduate degree in Ireland and Thailand, spending a year abroad in
an effort to enhance his worldview. After graduating, he moved to Arizona to serve as Program Coordinator VISTA at Catholic Charities Migration & Refugee Services. As he inspired entrepreneurship among refugees, and focused his efforts in program development, David’s interest in social enterprise and global issues evolved into a passion. He joined Social Enterprise Greenhouse in Providence, Rhode Island to serve as Microenterprise Manager VISTA, excited to engage with entrepreneurs and support the incubation of social enterprises throughout Rhode Island. Next summer, David will leave to serve as a Business Advisor for the Peace Corps in Eastern Europe. His goal is to become a Foreign Service Officer with the Department of State.
