I think this is interesting because we get to read a comic for class about a Holocaust victim. I think Vladek is likable because he is portrayed as just your average man. I say this in the sense that he is obviously shown as a Holocaust victim, yet the author tells about him dumping a woman after finding out she's poor and also tells about funny family instances. I think he's relatable because he seems like just your average joe. I'm interested to see how the Americans are portrayed!!
