I like this because it's a comic, and I've never really been assigned to read a comic. I like how the author uses different animals (mice, cats...) to show relationships between two groups. To me, this also highlights how ridiculous it is to categorize people into such rigid groups in a negative way, we are all human at the end of the day, no matter where we come from---and the cat/mouse relationship shows this. I like how Vladek is described as a normal person, how the author makes him real and describes things that many people can relate to (ex, his grandmother with the old coat)
